So today, I watered our 1/2 a stinken acre of yard….had a root canal…and on my way home from the dentist got a call that we are getting our first placement for foster care.  Man did I not have a clue what I was in for….Go to the agency to pick up the girls, fill out paperwork at the agency…Come home, feed the girls some cereal, because they had not eaten yet that day, and it was almost 6pm!…then bath the girls….and whats a bath without someone pooping in the tub! YUCK!!  After the bath, it was a mad dash to find clothes to fit these little squirts!  There soo tiny for there age!…then cook dinner….meet the auntie and uncle and cousins….eat dinner….play a little….put the girls to bed….Let our kids stay up later to chat about any feelings that might be going on, and to just spend some one on one time…cleaned the kitchen, put our kids to bed….and now I’m exhausted!  I should feel like super woman…but instead of feel a little weathered…Praise the Lord tomorrow is a new day!

This song,  “What Do I Know of Holy“…speaks to my heart in so many different ways….Its how I was as a kid growing up in a “Christian” household….”I knew all the stories and I learned to talk about”…and the same breath…”Those were only empty words on a page”…..and as a young adult I found many times where this was me:  “Then I caught a glimpse of who You might be, The slightest hint of You brought me down to my knees” ….so you see this song can capture my heart in almost an instant!  God is so good and faithful!  This was me…not me anymore, not to be confused with me still not ever having it all together, because, well, we will never have it all together…My life will always rely on Him…but I’m so thankful for His reminder of where He has brought me from!  Praise you Lord!
